SADIE HAWKINS!! =)

Last Night was the "Sadie Hawkins" Dance and it was absolutely a Blast! I went with my really good friend Keaton Kerr. We went with a big group of way fun people. We had a BBQ before the dance and played some games. The dance was at this big barn in honeyville. We went on a hay ride at the dance and got "hitched" (Until midnight)lol. My favorite teacher Mr. Burt married us and he was determined to humiliate me as much as possible. Haha. He didn't succeed. We danced for awhile and then went back to my friend's house to watch the Italian Job and eat some snacks. I think this may have been my favorite dance this far.. I am so glad I asked Keaton. He made me laugh the whole time and I'm glad we can have fun and be crazy together.:)

Being normal is so overrated. lol

"FYI" for Sadies you and your date are supposed to match. (We don't just do that for no reason)

It was SO cold on the Hay ride!

He isn't a druggy I swear. lol

Conference at the Marriot!

This Past week has been Exiting for me. I absolutely love being the age I am Right now. Sometimes I am in such a hurry to grow up I don't appreciate what is going on Right now in my life. But anyway, this past Wednesday I got to go to Provo overnight for a leadership conference at the Marriot! I was so exited because I got to miss school And because I absolutely LOVE hotels! Like seriously they are my favorite! I met lots of way fun people from all over the state and I loved that. I also got to eat at Chuck-A-Rama for the first time in my life! haha I think i gained 10 pounds while I was there. Meh oh well, it was well worth it. Here are some Pics:

Our area won for the loudest cheer

The fire alarm went off when we were in the middle of a meeting. It was scary but luckily it was just a false alarm. lol

Swimming was definitly one of my favorite parts! Can't you tell by my face? lol

Waiting patiently for some food.

Homecoming!!

This Week was Homecoming and it was SO fun! Friday night was the big game and as most people know our Varsity football team isn't the greatest. (To say the least) ;) But we only lost 3-10! haha We were just grateful we didn't get creamed. Me and Soph got really into the sprit and even painted our faces. We went CRAZY at the game but even our extremely LOUD cheering couldn't help them out. Too bad. :(

My Really good friend Eric asked me to homecoming and I was really exited! Him and Sophies date both played in the game Friday so we thought we would show some support by painting their jersey numbers on our cheeks. :)

(That's Zane in the background) haha

For our date Saturday we went to "The Fun Park" in Logan. There was a big group of us and we had a blast. I was a bit nervous when they said it had rollerblading, lazer tag, and a jungle gym type thing to play on. First off because I am really uncoordinated when it comes to rollerblades and tend to fall.. ALOT. Second, last time I went lazer tagging I got LAST PLACE out of 16 people. How devastating. The sad thing is I thought I was doing really good. But it didn't help no one told me I could unhook the gun from my belt. (I got teased to no end for this one) :) But this date turned out a lot better. I was actually pretty good at rollerblading! (besides the fact I didn't know how to stop and ran into a couple little kids) But I was way better than expected. And Lazer tag was a blast. I did pretty good and got really into it. And the jungle gym made me feel like a kid again! And I love that. :) There was this Yellow slide that was really steep and fast. It was my favorite!

After the Fun Park we went to Olive Garden! I have only been one other time and I was like 4 so I enjoyed it alot. The food was so delicious. It was very impressive and I will definitly be back there soon. (Me and Soph waiting outside)

After we got home it was time to get ready for the dance! My Amazingly talented sister Shannon was kind enough to do my hair and it turned out PERFECT! I am so glad we have a hair stylist in the family. Her and my mom helped me so much. I don't know what I would do without them! ♥

Getting ready can be a little bit stressful!

My mom trying to Pry in my earrings. (ouch) :)

The Dance was The best part. We got there, waited in a long line for pictures, (ugh.) Took pictures while we were still looking perfect, and then went and forgot about our hair and make-up and went INSANE. haha Our whole group was literally drenched in sweat from dancing so much. (disgusting.) haha But we didn't care. I am so glad I have some crazy, fun friends. :) Well all in all it was a pretty awesome weekend! ♥

World's Greatest Dad. ♥

Yesterday was my dad's 40 something birthday. (I respect his privacy) :) He absolutely hates his birthday and always insists we don't get him anything. (Of course we do anway) And we make him some pretty good treats, but he pretty much has all the toys he needs. :) He really is the best dad in the world though. He is such a hardworker and is extremely smart. He would do anything for anyone of us. I have always been very close to him and hope to always be. We share a lot of the same qualities..the good and the bad. Some of the bad being our occasional raging tempers, our possesiveness of certain objects, and of course our tendancy for over reacting. ;) haha Some of the good being our determination, love for music, our love for sports and competitiveness, and our no-tolerance policy for stupidness. Anyone who knows him would agree with me that he is extremely thoughtful and giving to others. He thinks of everyone else before he gives any thought to his wants or needs. Some of my friends see my dad and are a little intimidated, but honestly he is just one big teddy bear. Sometimes it's hard to find the sensitive side of him, but I know without a doubt it is in there. :) I am so grateful to him and for all he does for our family. I Love him very very much. I couldn't ask for a better dad. ♥

2 Fun-Filled Weekends!

The past two weekends have been a blast! Over Labor Day weekend, my family all abandoned me for Idaho. I stayed home because I had to work. haha Luckily, my best friend Sophie was also abandoned by her family. So we had quite the time with two whole houses to ourselves and no parental supervision for a whole weekend. We went swimming, rented some chick flicks, ate idle isle, made and delivered a birthday cake, stayed up until early morning, and made plenty of snacks! Including our famous "peach shakes." Yum! But I have to say I missed my family more than I expected I would. (who would've known?) haha But we had a great time!
The Beuatiful Birthday cake we made! :) We Love Our Peach Shakes!

We Lost complete track of this:

My Favorite show after the weekend! ♥

This past weekend was Peach Days. Yippee. No not really. It isn't as great as people make it seem. It's pretty much White Trash Christmas and the whole town is chaotic. Friday I had the wonderful oppurtunity to be in the Jr. Parade. ugh. How humiliating. But Saturday I absolutely Loved the Big parade!! I caught lots of candy and a few shirts. (My Favorite!) I spent the rest of my day sweltering in the heat at the car show. It was seriously soo hot! But i really loved looking at all the awesome cars and I like to watch people's jaws drop as they look at my dad's sweet cars. ;) After the car show we had a fun family barbeque! Then I was off to the carnival with some of my friends. It was fun to be with all of my friends but I seriously thought the whole Peach Days thing was really lame. We didn't want to spend money on rides drunkies put up so we just socialized the whole time. I did get a very Tasty Scone with honey butter though. It was my favorite part. :) Well I am still trying to accept the whole idea of school and autumn and stop missing summer so much..but it's not working all that great. The best time of the week is most definitly the weekends!!

Best Summer of My Life ♥

Can I just say that this Summer was one of the best EVER? I can't believe it's over. I hate even thinking about fall. :( But anyway this summer was definitly different than last. I did so many fun, unforgettable things. First off this was the first summer I could actually date and drive legally! haha It was so great not having to rely on people for rides. I seriously love driving. Anyway I spent most of my days at the pool. Rephrase that. I spent almost Everyday at the pool. And not laying out or swimming with my buds if that's what you think. haha No. I spent my days there blistering in the extremely hot sun, watching obnoxious little children go way past where they could touch, and yelling at annoying teens breaking all of the rules. Ok, so maybe it wasn't THAT bad, but it's definitly not the dream job Baywatch makes it look like. Some days I would start teaching swimming lessons at 8 in the morning and go home at 11 at night. Long hours eh? I think so. The days I didn't have to work (which were very rare) I would spend catching up on some sleep, eating snowies, taking naps, watching movies, playing with the fam, and occasionally hanging out with my friends. I went camping with the fam twice, went to granny and gramps house once, and spent an amzing week up at Girls Camp. But other than that it was WORK. So why do I call this post the "best summer of my life?" Well let me tell you a little bit.. I worked with some awesome people. ( I say some because some of them were beastly) But we seriously had a blast together. Especially the nights after we would close that we'd stay until midnight doing Insane things down the slide, or having wars against eachother. haha And even though all the girls acted like we hated it when the boys chucked us in the pool every night, deep down I think everyone liked it a bit. :) But i also loved when I just got to be home and be with the fam. Everyone came over and we had such a great time together. I also loved all of the little details of summer like the smell of sunscreen, tan skin, swimsuits, watching the beautiful sunsets, watermelon...etc. I truly can say I live for summer. It is the best time of the whole year. There is nothing like those care-free days and nights. I Love and will continue to Love summer for the rest of my life. It's over for now but will hopefully be back oh so soon. Here are some of my fav. pics:
