Welp I've got some EXCITING news so BRACE YOURSELF.

 you may be shocked and stunned. 

or maybe not.

 Nathan D. Marble and I are ENGAGED to be married July 20, 2013!!

 Oh my goodness. I feel like I'm living a dream. Life can't be this good, can it? I am so lucky. 

 remember how we met? 

who knew one single act of impulsiveness could lead to this?

 I would say getting married is the epitome of being FEARLESS so it's fitting for this year.

 Life is crazy. It's a whirlwind and you never know whats coming your way. 

So all i would say is sit back, enjoy the ride and wait for your next adventure because believe me,

 it WILL come.

Meet Nate.

 He loves the country. 

 He wears cowboy boots.

 He makes me laugh everyday. 

He drives a semi truck.

 He loves his family.

He works hard.

 He is adventurous to the 10th degree. 

He plays "role play" with me when we go to the D.I. 

He is dashing in a pearl snap. 

He is spontaneous and keeps me on my toes. 

He stops to help the crazy lady who has a flat tire on the highway.

He has as much energy as I do. (sometimes more if you can even imagine.) 

He sings to me whenever we ride in his truck. 

He slow dances with me when I'm stressed out. 

He showed up last night and said "get some tennis shoes on I have a surprise for you." 

(he attempted to teach me how to long board) 

I knew i loved him right then. 

as strange as it may seem- He's the dream I never knew I had, but the only dream I want.

(I'm realizing Now how I'm sounding like one of "those girls." I guess that happens when you're in love)

cali baby

Last week was spring break and I got to spend the WHOLE week in California, right next to the beach with four awesome girls. We seriously laughed so hard and made so many unforgettable memories. Anyone who knows me, knows I jump at any opportunity to live the beach life. (even if it was only for a week) Something about being in Cali makes me feel like I'm home. Maybe the sand between my toes, the orange sunsets over the ocean, the crisp morning air, the way everyone dresses like their own person, or the fact that wearing your swim suit ALL day is completely acceptable. I LOVED it.

 

Today is one of those days when the craziness of life just HITS me. and hits me HARD. 

Life is insane. and unexpected. and perfect. 

And I wouldn't trade it for anything. 

But there is so much going on with school and work and boyfriend that sometimes I get home at the end of the day feeling exhausted and unfocused. 

& then my mind flashes back to Africa. 

And those babes that touched my life forever.I look at their pictures before I fall asleep and pray that god is watching over them. 

What I wouldn't give to hold their grimy hands and hear their perfect laughter again.
